As a Norwegian (yes, I´m a Viking and all that stuff despite my relatively short height 5´5 and) who grew up on the wrong side of the country where there were no ice rinks, I never got to play hockey myself. Instead I had to settle for sports like soccer or... ...well, soccer was pretty much it.. But the interest for hockey was there from the beginning. I grew up playing NHL 94 and my favourite team was Quebec Nordiques. When they moved to Denver it was easy to adopt The Avalanche as my new team.
Often have I wished to live in the U.S or Canada (which one is better?!??!) so that I could attend to hockey matches, or just watch them on the TV in the evenings. My only choice now as an Avs fan is to get up in the middle of the night (often 3 or 4 AM) to watch them play... So before I decide to pack my things and cross the pond, I was wondering about something:
What is the typical Avalanche fan like??? How would you describe him/her/it?
