Landeskog observations

So my family and I are visiting denver from Santa Fe this weekend and we went to the avs practice this afternoon. Landeskog skated for about 30+ minutes before practice. Mostly he was operating on cruise control but he also did a number of drills with Tim Army where he went pretty hard and looked good. Without being inside his head I'd say he looked like he was feeling pretty good. He must have been on some sort of time limit because he had.a watch on and checked it about a hundred times.

A couple other observations. When Zanon came out my wife said "who's that? He looks like a dwarf." I lol'd hard but my son who's currently obsessed with dwarves (hobbit style) became an instant fan.

Also there was a minor altercation between highlander and pulashaj, I believe. Pulashaj backed down but it was a reminder that guys in the lower echelons of the league are always fighting for their jobs.

Otherwise it was an uneventfull practice although Giggy was present. My kids got some autographs afterward and my thanks go to Landy, Zanon, Mitchell, Bordeleau, and Dutchy for stopping to sign and take photos with fans. Bordeleuau's hands looked like he'd been in a fight with a grinding wheel.
