Avs Captain Returns to Practice

USA TODAY Sports

Yes, it's true: good news!* *conditional good news. Which potentially makes it bad news, because it could raise hopes only to bitterly crush them later.... So let's just scratch the good and call it "news". Deal?

Not much to report here other than the simple radical fact that the Cap'n is back, albeit it in an Orange no-contact jersey.

UPDATE: Per the Denver Post, Sacco said Gabe could skate in the pregame warm-ups tomorrow barring any setbacks, but will not play Wednesday. The youngest Captain in NHL history won't see any game action until he has been cleared for contact and taken part in full-contact practice. Landeskog led the team in stretches after practice, resuming his captainly duties.
