The Avalanche host the Flames tomorrow, which is welcome news for avid followers of the Splitsville series. Pretty much all of the Avs' forwards have put up great numbers against the Flameouts. Two notable exceptions would be David Jones (who somehow seems to struggle against every team) and Matt Duchene - who did not practice today, but has not been ruled out for tomorrow (warning, stupid auto-playing video link alert).

Between the pipes, 38 combined starts by Varlamov and Giguere against the Flames. The numbers are solid for both...but no shutouts. I think it's time to change that, don't you all agree, avid readers?
