The Avs ended the Blackhawks point streak with a stunning 6 to 2 win in Denver.
Really great goals by Duchene and O'Reilly in the second period helped to crush the Hawks. Stastny, Parenteau, Mithchell, and McGinn also scored which led to a huge win for the Avs.
Varlamov had a nice game and Johnson helped to setup Duchene's goal.
The Avs victory helps the team get back into the playoff hunt for the 7th and 8th slots in the Western Conference.
