Ryan O'Byrne traded to Toronto for a 4th round pick in 2014

Dilip Vishwanat

Like many people predicted, Ryan O'Byrne brought back a fourth rounder. He's headed to Toronto to join John-Michael Liles. It's such a big trade that Sportsnet is still talking about Luongo instead of the trade.

O'Byrne has been a major disappointment this season, making last year look like an aberration. He is soft along the boards, slow, and bad at puck handling. Thus, I'm happy he is gone. I'd rather have Shane O'Brien in the lineup over ROB any day.

Fare thee well, Ryan. I'll always remember what a bad ass you were for taking that skate the face and finishing your shift.
