Why is it that I get the strange feeling that it is Radar not SOS that will be moved for a #1 D-man?

As much as the Avs management has changed, with their ever present vail of secrecy cast off, somehow I feel that the contract fiasco with Radar will lead to a typical and traditional Colorado action...making him a former Av. Lets face it, historically only Big Joe gets forgiveness in such matters. I feel like Radar's move to wing is a sign, he will put up numbers on the first line but that may be a way of showcasing him. He is a center and likely the best faceoff man on the team I doubt he is happy with his demotion from his natural position. Roy doesn't really mention him in interviews, and an "A" is available which I suspect it will end up sewn on Duchene's jersey. For Mr. Character #90 that too will be an insult for the one time captain candidate, plus his RFA qualifying offer is pretty overpriced. As for Stastny who's nicely lit pic is background on the official website...The #2 slot is his to lose flanked by the talents of Tangs and Landy (who I hope is playing the right side as he did in the OHL)...Although a Landy Mac Downie line will be iced at some point. SOS who has been in every other trade rumor for the better part of two years doesn't seem like the most likely trade option to defuse the four headed "star" center problem any longer.

Radar will bring far more in a trade than an SOS who is UFA at the end of the season. If the trade deadline is late enough and permits, the Avs will get their franchise D-man at radar's expense.
