The Colorado Avalanche 2013-2014 Starting Roster.

Yesterday the Colorado Avalanche reduced their roster to 24 players and they also placed Ryan Wilson on the injury reserve list making the Avalanche roster 23 active players. The players who have, thus far, made the cut are:

Goalies:

Semyon Varlamov: Last season Varlamov started 35 games for the Avalanche, had 11 wins, 21 losses, 3 OT losses.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere: Last season Jiggy had 18 games played, 5 wins, 4 losses and 4 OT losses.

Forwards:

Gabriel Landeskog: The team Captain played in 36 games last year and had 9 goals and 8 assists for the Avalanche.

Alex Tanguay: Tanguay came back to the Avalanche this summer along with Sarich. While with the Flames last season Tanguay played in 40 games. He had 11 goals and 16 assists.

Jamie McGinn: Last season McGinn appeared in 47 games and had 11 goals and 11 assists.

Cody McLeod: McLeod played in 48 games last season, he had 8 goals and 4 assists and notched 83 penalty minutes.

Patrick Bordeleau: Bordeleau played in 46 games last season and had 2 goals, 3 assists and 70 penalty minutes.

Matt Duchene: Duchene played in 47 games for the Avs last season and had 17 goals and 26 assists.

Paul Stastny: Stastny played in 40 games last season. He had 9 goals and 15 assists.

Nathan MacKinnon: MacKinnon was the first overall draft pick this offseason.

Ryan O`Reilly: O'Reilly played in 29 games for the Avalanche last season. He had 6 goals and 14 assists in that time.

Marc-Andre Cliche: Cliche hasn't played a game in the NHL since his single game in the 2010 season.

Steve Downie: Downie only managed to play two games for the Avalanche last season.

P.A. Parenteau: Parenteau played in 48 games last season had 18 goals and 25 assists.

John Mitchell: Mitchell played in 47 games last season, and had 10 goals and 10 assists.

Defense:

Nick Holden: Last season Holden played in two games for the Blue Jackets.

Tyson Barrie: Barrie played in 32 games last season for the Avalanche. He had 2 goals and 11 assists.

Nate Guenin: Guenin played in the AHL last season, but the previous season he played in 15 games for the Ducks.

Erik Johnson: Johnson played in 31 games last season and had 4 points in that time.

Jan Hejda: Hejda played in 46 games last season and had 1 goal, and 9 assists.

Cory Sarich: Sarich played in 28 games last season, he had 2 points in that time.

Matt Hunwick: Hunwick played in 43 games last season and had 6 points.

Andre Benoit: Benoit played for the Senators last season and appeared in 33 games, he had 3 goals and 7 assists.

** Ryan Wilson (IR): Wilson played in 12 games last season and had 3 assists.
