GDT: Avalanche vs Wild 4/26/2014, Game 5 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs Round 1

Hannah Foslien

Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Once again, your Colorado Avalanche take on the Wilds of Minnesota tonight at the Pepsi Center.

Good, no, GREAT news today as Matt Duchene took drills with the team and looked fine, still won't play tonight unfortunately. Oh, more good news, Alex Tanguay was on the ice with the guys for morning skate according to our captain. No updates on Smooth Johnny or Tyson Barrie.

The lineup will remain pretty much the same with the possibility that Paul Carey replaces Joey Hishon on a gametime decision. I'm a little surprised Stefan Elliott wasn't even considered to replace Wilson but experience beats talent in a Game 5 situation I guess.

Projectile Lineup

Gabriel Landeskog - Paul Stastny - Nathan MacKinnon
Jamie McGinn - Ryan O’Reilly - PA Parenteau
Cody McLeod - Marc-Andre Cliche - Max Talbot
Brad Malone  - Joey Hishon/Paul Carey - Patrick Bordeleau

Jan Hejda - Erik Johnson
Nick Holden - Nate Guenin
Andre Benoit - Ryan Wilson

Semyon Varlamov
Jean-Sebastien Giguere
