Somebody think Weber as an Av could happen.

I still don't. Weber is more of an enigma. I would love to have him, don't get me wrong. I still don't think it will happen. Still, there has been a lot more talk about the Avs getting a number 2 dman. Weber is still kind of like a number one guy but you get the idea. Jack Johnson's name is also getting tossed around.

I say we trade for the Schenn brothers. You know, if the "quest" for Weber doesn't happen. Weber to the Avs? Holy moly. And I like myself some moly.

Owen Sound Attack general manager Dale DeGray said on Wednesday that the injured centre will not play for London this season despite the Knights claiming the Stratford native on overage waivers on Tuesday.

"From everything I've been told, it's not going to happen," DeGray said. "I've talked to Colorado and they said he's not ready to play. He hasn't passed clearance for full practice. I've talked to Joey several times. He's not ready to play."

And it's unclear if Hishon will suit up at all this season as he's still struggling with post-concussion symptoms after taking an elbow to the head during the 2011 MasterCard Memorial Cup tournament in May.
