nice

good discussion.  I didn't realize so many people thought Q was on the hot seat!

Re: nice

Your job doesn't stay very secure when you miss the playoffs---weak team or no weak team.

Re: nice

oh, I'm not disagreeing -- he's a decent coach, but his handling of goalies is troubling, as is how he treats young players.  Maybe it's Granato's time again?

Granato?

If Q fails here, Granato doesn't have a chance, they'll look outside the organization for the next coach I think.

Re: Granato

Funny thing about Granato, he has the best overall win percentage of any Avalanche coach ever.  Of course, he had a pretty good lineup to work with, but he wasn't a bad head coach, statistically speaking.

He's not much of a leader, though, from what I understand.  I could be wrong.  I don't think, though, that the Avalanche will ever give him another chance to be top dog.  They will most likely look outside.

I have a feeling Mike Keenan will be looking for work again next season...
