Jets Give David Aebischer a Tryout Contract

From the Winnipeg Free Press; the Jets throw a bone to a guy who hasn't played in the NHL since 2007-08 with the Phoenix Coyotes. Aebischer's spent the last four years in the Swiss League, though he and his Lugano team have been none too impressive stopping the likes of Christian Dube and Stacy Roest. In fact, last year he was near the bottom of the league in save percentage. Curious tryout offer, curious that the Free Press says Fredrik Pettersson-Wentzel is our top goaltending prospect, but whatever. I don't think anything comes of this.
