Game 47: Kings 6, Avalanche 5

The Los Angeles Kings and Colorado Avalanche scored 11 total goals, as the Kings beat the Avs 6-5 in Denver.

Game 27: Avalanche 5, Canucks 4 (SO)

It didn't start out very promising, but in the end, the Avalanche pulled out a shootout win over the Canucks, 5-4. The Avs have now won 8 in a row against Vancouver; the Canucks last beat the Avalanche on November 9th, 2007.

Game 22: Coyotes 2, Avalanche 1

The Avalanche spun their wheels really hard (38 shots), but could only get one past Phoenix backup Michael Tellqvist. That would be the 7th time in the last 10 games that they've been held to a goal or less in regulation.

Game 21: Avalanche 3, Blues 1

Well, it wasn't the most stunning victory of all time, but a win is a win. The Avalanche probably didn't play well enough to beat a Calgary or an Anaheim, but they were good enough to beat Manny Legace and the Blues.

Game 20: Ducks 4, Avalanche 1

The Avalanche have had a lot of these flat games lately. I still believe they are better than the way they are playing, but they need to find their way soon

Game 17: Flames 4, Avalanche 1

Peter Budaj's impressive performance in net wasn't enough to save his struggling Colorado Avalanche against the Calgary Flames, who won 4-1.

Game 16: Avalanche 3, Oilers 2 (SO)

The Colorado Avalanche extended their win streak to three games with a shootout victory over divisional rival Edmonton.

Game 15: Avalanche 2, Canucks 1 (SO)

Peter Budaj led the Colorado Avalanche to a 2-1 shootout victory over Roberto Luongo and the Vancouver Canucks.

Game 14: Avalanche 1, Predators 0

Peter Budaj led the Colorado Avalanche to a 1-0 shutout victory over the Nashville Predators, snapping a five-game losing streak.

Game 13: Wild 3, Avalanche 1

The Colorado Avalanche extend their losing streak to five games after a frustrating loss to the Minnesota Wild.
