Malkin whoopie

The Pittsburgh Penguins have announced the signing of Evgeni Malkin. Malkin snuck away from his Russian team a few weeks ago. The number two overall pick in 2004 (behind Alex Ovechkin), Malkin joins Sidney Crosby to give the Pens a darn good nucleus to work with for the next few years - reminiscent of when Jaromir Jagr and Mario Lemieux played together.malkin

It's amazing that the team has had some of the best young talent in the NHL, but has struggled on the financial side of things. People in Calgary, Montreal or Buffalo would kill to get guys like this.
