The Avalanche unveiled their new uniforms on Wednesday (photo gallery). Although a few people liked them, most of the opinion - like this, this, this, this, this and this - was much less positive. The team hasn't done much wrong this offseason...but this is a pretty big thing to fuck up, in my opinion.

You may have seen mention of the upcoming Avalanche blogger roundtable. On October 1, Dario, myself and gaggle of other Avalanche bloggers will be weighing in on a bunch of topics involving the Avalanche and their upcoming season. I'm really looking forward to seeing if we can actually pull this off seeing our hard work come to fruition.
Rookie camp is over. I gave links to reports on day 1 and day 2 last Monday. Jori has a day 3 report and a couple more overviews from camp are out there as well. Probably the best capsulized recap of rookie camp is over at Avs Talk - great work, Shane. After rookie camp ended, 17 players were invited to training camp, while the rest were reassigned either to the AHL or to their junior team.
As for training camp, here's a breakdown of the recaps I've been able to find:
Day 1
The Hockey Guild (posted on the Avs forums...Justin's new site is coming soon)
Day 2 - where the big news seemed to be the fight between Mitch Love and Ryan Smyth, followed soon after by Love v Lappy.
There's a lot of camp photos linked in the various reports. Here's two camp albums: one from woodchub and one from theogirl60.
Finally, the articles / interviews of players (and one beloved former player) continues:
Brandon Straub (who, according to the article, has been sent to Lake Erie)
Tyler Wieman (who seems to have solidified himself ahead of Michael Wall on the organizational depth chart).
Finally, for those in the area, Avalanche single game tickets went on sale on Saturday.
