Despite waiting until Andrew Raycroft was in net to do it, the Avalanche have finally started winning games this season. Two in a row, in fact. After Peter Budaj put in three straight mediocre showings and got three losses to show for them, Raycroft put in two mediocre showings and got two wins. Such is the nature of this great game.
Budaj makes his return tonight against the Kings, ready and no doubt desperate to win. A dominant presence in net would go a long way to rebuilding any confidence he may have lost among his teammates. Another weak showing and/or a loss would be a very bad thing.
There's not much else to say. Win tonight or start panicking. Right?
