TWO GAME 7s TONIGHT!!!!
I'm pulling for the Sharks over the Flames, because I hates me some Norris Candidate Phadouche, and I like Nabby as a goaltender more than Kipper.
It should be no surprise that I'll be pulling for OV and the Caps tonight over the Philly Phlyers. Two reasons really:
- Alex Ovechkin is the best thing to happen to the sport of hockey in a LOOOOONG time, IMO. His breakaway goal and his PP hammer-of-the-gods shot were sublime last night.
- If you enjoyed watching a goonish team play their 'style' and lose, they you have the chance to see the tri-fecta (The Ducks and The Wild being the other 2/3rds of the pyramid scheme) completed tonight.
Other than that, anybody who's a true fan of hockey and not just the hometown team should be excited by both of these matchups and the potential of both of these Game 7's.
