So, are the Avs buyers or sellers?   If they are buyers,you have to remember that it’s an incredibility overpriced market with only St. Louis (maybe) in the West looking to sell and Toronto, Tampa Bay, Ottawa, Atlanta and the Islanders in the East. Also, not all the buyers out there are going to make the playoffs and sellers might be able to make out like bandits, and the way this team has played all year I can see them on the outside looking in.

I would see what you can get for anyone over 28 on this roster and find a long term solution to the goal-tending (Montoya, Lehtonen, maybe Giguere if Anaheim is going with Hiller). Philly reloaded the year they faltered when Forsberg was there and made out well, the Avs should at least consider that.  If any of you read AD's blog on the DP you might see something that looks remarkably like the above, but at least I'm copping to it.
