Big news on the tank front. Tampa took the Canadiens to OT tonight, giving them a point and keeping them from dropping below the Avalanche in the standings. The 2nd spot is now Colorado's to own.
The 2nd spot would not guarantee Hedman - the Avs would have a 18% shot at #1 (Tavares), a 42% shot at #2 (Hedman) and a 39% shot at the 3rd pick (likely Duchene).
