Finally, the last week of the season is here. Your Colorado Avalanche have 5 games left over this final week, 4 against teams currently in the playoff hunt. While the Canucks have clinched a playoff berth, they are in a race with the Calgary Flames for 1st place in the NW division (both teams have 94 points, but the Flames have 2 more wins than the Canucks).

With that in mind, we can expect the Canucks to bring their "A" game tonight, which works out just fine for T14T porpoises. The Avs are 3 points ahead of the Islanders and 2 points behind Tampa. A loss tonight would guarantee a bottom-three finish (and no worse than the 4th overall pick in the upcoming draft).

Wojtek Wolski is expected to be recovered enough from his recent bout of tankitis to play tonight. Peter Budaj will be between the pipes for the Avs and Roberto Luongo will start for the Canucks.
