Adam Foote returned to the lineup on Saturday and Ryan Wilson is expected back soon, so the Avalanche cleared some roster room today, sending defensemen David Liffiton and Colby Cohen - both healthy scratches on Saturday - to Lake Erie. Both played well in their brief call-up. Cohen was scoreless in 3 games, but looked comfortable; I don't think there will be any hesitation to bring him back up should the injury bug strike again. Liffiton had one goal - the first of his career - in 4 games. I thought he looked good, but with an average of just 7:28 of ice time it doesn't seem like there's as much confidence in his game as with the other rookie defensemen. He'll return to his role of captain for the Monsters.
