Today we have playoff qualification matches. Switzerland v Belarus at 12:00. Canada v Germany at 4:30. Czech Republic v Latvia at 7:00. Slovakia v Norway at 9:00. Times are pacific standard, unless you are on the pacific coast. Not surprisingly, NBC is screwing the west coast and screwing up hockey coverage in general. Puck Daddy has a pretty good post on it. One interesting thing to note from the above bracket is that since Russia and Canada will face each other in the quarter finals (in the event Canada wins today of course) only one of them will have a chance to medal. I'm sure that game will be nasty and exceedingly fun to watch.
