Avalanche - Sharks Quarterfinal Schedule

New, comments

Here's the schedule for the Avs - Sharks 1st round match up. Unlike the Quarterfinal schedule against Minnesota in 2008, this one has no quirks, with one off-day between every game.

Wednesday, April 14 at San Jose, 10:30 p.m. CBC, VERSUS (JIP)
Friday, April 16 at San Jose, 10:30 p.m. CBC, VERSUS (JIP)
Sunday, April 18 at Colorado, 9:30 p.m. CBC, VERSUS (JIP)
Tuesday, April 20 at Colorado, 10:00 p.m. CBC, VERSUS (JIP)
*Thursday, April 22 at San Jose, 10:30 p.m. CBC, VERSUS (JIP)
*Saturday, April 24 at Colorado, TBD CBC
*Monday, April 26 at San Jose, TBD CBC

However, as has been reported in another thread, the games are all on Versus and it sure looks like we'll be getting jipped as indicated above. JIP means joined in progress and they sure mean it. However, I'm pretty sure all of the JIP games will be carried locally. The only game exclusively on Vs should be game 6 - so there's potential to be jipped there if the 7pm game runs long. My understanding is that everything else will be on Altitude and the local San Jose station. It definitely gave my heart a start this morning...

Of course, we'll have a massive preview of the series, but we're going to need a day to raid our piggy banks so we can get a finalized bounty to place on Gentleman Rob's head. In other words, look for that preview on Tuesday. I will be on Rink Side Radio again tonight  to discuss the series. The show will run from 9 to 11 eastern and they'll be talking about all 8 series. I'm slated to go on around 9:30 along with From The Rink's Mike Chen to discuss the only series that matters.
