Duchene, who turns 20 on Sunday, is the team's leading scorer with 18 goals and 25 assists this season.

I'm still amazed that Duchene could have techenically represented Team Canada at the World Juniors this year.

At least that's how it looked, what with forward Wojtek Wolski's agent asking Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney for a trade on Sunday and the 24-year-old getting shipped out the next day to the New York Rangers for defenseman Michal Rozsival.


Shattenkirk and Duchene aren't the only ones getting some love

Center Ryan Stoa, who leads the Monsters in goals (14) and ranks second in points (25), has been named to the AHL Western Conference All-Star Team. Stoa is the Monsters’ lone representative.
