Game_2066_medium

November 27th. The Avalanche kick the snot out of the Minnesota Wild, 7-4. Chris Stewart does the same to Kyle Brodziak, but breaks his hand. The Avs lose their next 4 games.

December 13th. The Wild rough up Craig Anderson, scoring 3 goals - including a shorty - in the first 22 minutes. Anderson gets pulled, the Wild end up winning 3-1. The Avs lose 3 of their next 4 games, with 2 of the losses coming against NW teams.

January 14th. Tomas Flesichmann scores in his 2nd to last game of the season as the Avalanche win 4-1. The Avs lose 3 of their next 5 games.

February 3rd. The Wild score 2 goals in the first 61 seconds. The Avs battle back, but can't get there. Chris Stewart scores with 11 seconds left to make it 4-3, but horseshoes this isn't (although the team might be good at that). Ryan O'Reilly is injured when he falls head first into the boards. The Avs lose their next 2 games.

February 9th. Craig Anderson gets roughed up again and is again pulled after 3 goals, and the Avs lose 3-2. It's his final start and 2nd to last game with the Avalanche. Kyle Cumiskey suffers a concussion in the game. The Avs lose 10 of their next 11 games (and counting).

Win or lose, bad things happen to the Avalanche when they play the Wild. Any chance we can just skip this one? Yeah, didn't think so. Go Avs. Try to get out of there in one piece.
