Milan Hejduk gives nhl.com a quote

Hejduk, the last remaining member of the Avalanche's 2001 Stanley Cup championship team, will be an unrestricted free agent but wants to return for another season.

"It's like we were two different teams the first half of the season and the second half," he said. "It was like we hit the wall and we couldn't get anything going. It was very strange. We had a ton of injuries and … we'll bounce back, like we always do here. I try to stay positive."

A little update on Matt Hendricks. He was nominated for the Masterton Trophy. Last year he was the nominee for the Avalanche team.

The Washington, D.C. chapter of the Professional Hockey Writers’ Association nominated Matt Hendricks for this year’s Masterton Trophy – awarded to the NHL player "who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to hockey."
