Joey Hishon's team has forced a seventh game. As an aside, I saw an interview with Binnington after the game and he was quite a good interview. I was surprised.

Jordan Binnington is the Owen Sound Attack’s goalie of the future.

His coach, Mark Reeds, decided the future is now, starting the 17-year-old for the first time in more than six weeks as the Attack faced a must-win game in the Ontario Hockey League final here Thursday night.

Good news for Vancouver, for those who don't remember, Manny was injured when he was playing against the Avs.

Manny Malhotra skated with the team for the first time since a career-threatening eye injury, although the centre was not in full gear and won't return this season.

Adrian Dater blogs that he thinks Peter Budaj is gone.

appears done with the Avalanche.

At this stage, the Avs are prepared to move on from the goalie, who has been with the team since 2005. His contract is up, and there is no plan to re-sign him.
