TSN talks off-season game plan for our beloved Avalanche, and as Avs fans we should be pretty Dran proud of Matt Duchene.

(Edit - there is a FanShot on this, so stick tap to 9601)

Only 20-years-old, Duchene already has 51 goals and 122 points in his first two seasons, which ranks ninth among players 20-or-under over the last 20 seasons and those above him that meet these criteria (Sidney Crosby, Eric Lindros, Patrick Kane, Steven Stamkos, Anze Kopitar, Mats Sundin, Jaromir Jagr, Jonathan Toews) are rather impressive.

Stastny is enjoying his time representing Team USA

It was an emotional return for (Yan) Stastny to the homeland of his father, NHL great Peter Stastny, who was watching the game at Steel Arena.

"It is a very special event for me," Stastny said in Slovak. "Every day here is great for me and my family."

"It was a goal for the team," he added. "Our line did what we could. We put them under pressure, it was fine, though I think we still can play better."

Matt Duchene will no longer be on the same line as Chris Stewart, Stewie still seems hurt by the trade but has made new friends.

The arrival of James Neal will give the lineup more stability for Sunday's game against France (TSN, 10:15 a.m. ET). He'll line up with Rick Nash and Matt Duchene, allowing Stewart to take a permanent spot with Tavares and Skinner. A third scoring unit featuring Jordan Eberle, Jason Spezza and Evander Kane makes Canada a pretty dangerous opponent.
