MHH Playoffs Live Thread! April 23, 2012

Every game is an elimination game from this point forward, ladies and gentlemen.

Craig Anderson vs. Brian Boyle: #2 New York Rangers at #7 Ottawa Senators, Game 6, 7:00 Eastern, NBC Sports and CBC (Ottawa leads 3-2)

Ol' Baldy has been awesome for the Senators, whose role players have stepped it up in the absence of Daniel Alfredsson and Jason Spezza, who finally put his first goal of the series behind Lundqvist in Game 5. Speaking of Alfredsson, he might be back for this, guess we'll see. (Update: He says today that he's in. No word on whether the fans still plan to chant Ralphie at him every 11th minute.)

On the Rangers' side of things, Henrik Lundqvist has really not been bad. It's the goal support that's missing. How much of that is Anderson and how much of that is the Rangers? Leading goal scorer Brian Boyle (seriously) is out with a concussion suffered at the hands of Chris Neil on a hit that was ultimately not punished (and probably rightfully so, as much as I hate Neil and his crappy team). Who's gonna pick it up now eh?

New York is up against it, and Ottawa has a chance to win it for the home crowd.
