I can only assume this game is starting early so that it will end before the Metro closes. HONK HONK HONK!! Game 3, if you didn't hear, lasted for almost the entirety of 3 overtimes before a HONK HONK HONK Caps' defensive meltdown that Mike anatomized for us resulted in Marian Gaborik saying "hey guys, did you forget I'm still on the team? I almost did too there, whew!" His game winner boosted New York to a 2-1 series lead, but it took until after midnight for him to get it in.
