Everyone has different opinions on what constitutes a good pet. Some prefer it when their pet is a companion in every sense of the word, giving affection and entertainment that would rival any human friend. Others like it it when the pet does its own thing for the most part, but is there when the mood strikes. Some like pets that can be trained to do impressive things, while others want protection or some other useful quality—or just something pretty to look at.
