Lake Erie Monsters @ San Antonio Rampage, 6:30 pm MT
Coming off a 5-1 beat-down over the Rampage last night, the Monsters look for a repeat as the two teams face off again in San Antonio. Lake Erie currently sits tied for second (four points out of 1st) in the North Division while the Rampage are dead last in the South Division. LEM will be without the services of Mark Olver, David van der Gulik, Michael Sgarbossa, Patrick Bordeleau, Stefan Elliott and Tyson Barrie; the six skaters have been summoned to Denver to attend the Avalanche's truncated training camp.
Denver Cutthroats @ Arizona Sundogs, 7:05 pm MT
The Fish are on a three-game losing skid, although two of those games went to a shoot out. They are in fourth place in the CHL right now, while the Sundogs sit second to last at 9th. This is the first of a back-to-back set in Arizona (where, hopefully, the Sundogs sport better home jerseys than the aways we are forced to view in Denver. Ugh.) AJ Gale continues to lead the team in scoring; Patterson has been minding the net, but with Kieran Millan back from Lake Erie, he might get the nod tonight. Joel Chouinard and Markus Lauridsen are with the Monsters, filling in for Elliottt and Barrie.
