Game Thread: Bulldogs at Monsters

Okay, folks, time to let that demoralizing last few hours go and turn our attention to the Lake Erie Monsters, a team on fire right now, as they face off with the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Lake Erie is coming off a 4-3 OT win over the Toronto Marlies. Mike Sgarbossa had a three-point night, including two goals, one of which was the OT game-winner. Andrew Aggozino also had himself a game, getting three assists on the night. The team is riding a 4-game win streak, hoping to stretch that during the 5-game homestand that starts tonight.

The Bulldogs have faced the Monsters 4 times so far this season, and LEM leads the series 3-1-0-0. They've dominated the Bulldogs since the start of the 2011-12 season, taking them 10 out of 12 times.

Aggozino has been the cornerstone of the Monsters' scoring lately, notching 20 points (5g, 15a) over the last 17 games. For the Bulldogs, all eyes are on Gabriel Dumont, who has three goals and five points over his last six games.

Game starts at 7:30 pm ET, and you can hear it via the Monsters' feed or watch via the AHL
