HBO's 24/7 showed an argument over a water bottle.
Clarkson, the Toronto Maple Leafs forward, was jostling with his opponent, Detroit Red Wings forward Todd Bertuzzi, as the conversation unfolded. Bertuzzi had fired a puck at the water bottle, which belonged to Leafs goaltender Jonathan Bernier and had somehow landed on the ice during a game earlier this month.
“The water bottle’s on the [expletive] ground,” Bertuzzi growled back. “Don’t worry about a [expletive] water bottle.”
“I am worried about a [expletive] water bottle,” Clarkson said. “It’s our [expletive] water bottle. Don’t [expletive] touch it.”
