Chicks and their Polls: Best of the Trades

New, comments

The O'Reilly Situation has focused a lot of attention on Avalanche GM Greg Sherman and his ability with trading players.

Christian Petersen

Most of the general hockey population think Sherman is horrible at it and that the Avalanche has been fleeced time and time again. Some within Avs country feel the same. There are those out there, and it's not a small group by any means, that think Sherm ain't too bad at this trading business. Let's check out what he's done over the past 3.5 seasons, dating back to the trade deadline in 2009.

For simplicity, I've left off trades that yielded players who are, thus far, inconsequential to either team.
