We go hard all day today! One game in each time slot, including 2 on the network in the US. Here... we... go:

#1 Pittsburgh Penguins at #8 New York Islanders (1-1)

12:00 Eastern, NBC, TSN

After taking a 5-0 shellacking, the Islanders responded by falling behind early in game two as Evgeni Malkin and Zombie Sidney Crosby would combine for 3 goals in the first. But that was all they would get, as the Isles responded with 4 unanswered goals of their own to win and tie the series as it comes back to Nassau today. If you're up with us for the noon-eastern start, keep an eye on Marc-Andre Fleury. If he starts letting beachballs in, the Isles have a chance.

#1 Chicago Blackhawks at #8 Minnesota Wild (2-0 CHI)

3:00 Eastern, NBC, CBC

Newly rich men Zach Parise and Ryan Suter have identical major stat lines this series: 0 points, 2 PiM, -3. lulz. Likely Masterton Trophy winner Josh Harding has put together a .929 SV% but that's not been good enough for any wins yet, because on the other side of the ice Corey Crawford is sitting on a .945 SV%. Meanwhile the Blackhawks have 12 players with at least one point, and 6 with at least two. Not looking so good for the Lockout's Team.

#2 Montreal Canadiens at #7 Ottawa Senators (1-1)

7:00 Eastern, NBC Sports, CBC, RDS

Craig Anderson has a .940 SV%. That's where it needs to stay if his team wants a chance to win, but he'll need more than 1 goal of support too. Both Anderson and Carey Price have lost teeth tending goal in this series too; also the Habs are missing Lars Eller for the forseeable future and Eric Gryba will be out tonight serving the second game of his suspension. Erik Karlsson achilles cut something something return something something. Watch to covet PK Subban.

#3 Vancouver Canucks at #6 San Jose Sharks (2-0 SJS)

10:00 Eastern, NBC Sports, TSN
