Avalanche announce more roster cuts

The Avs just announced the second round of roster cuts for this pre-season. 42 players remain for the 23 spots on the big club.

Heading to Lake Erie for Monsters camp:

#53 Michael Schumacher - LW

Re-assigned to their respective Junior Clubs:

#60 Spencer Martin - G, to Missisauga of the OHL

#62 Troy Bourke - LW, to Prince George of the WHL

#65 Mason Geertsen - D, to Vancouver of the WHL

Geertsen, Bourke and Martin were dressed for last night's game versus the Ducks.
