The Avs continued to whittle down the roster today, assigning the following players to the Lake Erie Monsters:

Andrew Agozzino

Mitchell Heard

Garett Meurs

Colin Smith

The following players were put on waivers and will be reassigned once cleared:

Bryan Lerg

J.T. Wyman

Mark Olver

Olver is the only surprise here, and that only a mild one.

Colorado has only 7 more cuts to make to be at the 23 player limit for the regular season.

The Monsters' training camp opens Wednesday near Cleveland.
