Vandy recalled from Lake Erie

The Avalanche have recalled David Van der Gulik from the Monsters.

Vandy started the season on the injured list because of a knee operation over the summer, played 12 games then broke a bone in his foot. He returned Friday against Milwaukee and had a natural hat trick Saturday night.

Van der Gulik has played 40 games for the Avs over the years, racking up 2 goals and 9 assists.

No word yet on MacKinnon or O'Reilly's injuries from last night's game, but...
