Ovie stars in a Russian music video.

Alex Ovechkin would like to show you his moves off the ice. Only there's not much moving involved.

In the video for Russian pop star Katya Lel's "Let Them Talk," you won't find Ovechkin singing or dancing. You will find him standing motionless while staring at the camera as Lel drapes herself all over him.

Nashville to host 2016 NHL All-Star weekend.

Nashville will host the NHL all-star game for the first time in 2016, sources told The Canadian Press on Wednesday.

A formal announcement is expected to be made at a news conference Friday at Bridgestone Arena. Commissioner Gary Bettman and local politicians will be in attendance.

Bettman said in April 2012 during a trip to Nashville that Music City will host an all-star game. But the commissioner said then he couldn't give a date with the event needing "stars to line up."

The Ottawa Senators are heading into their home opener with a little momentum and get to face a team off to a much worse start than its stellar one last season.

The Colorado Avalanche, though, haven't lost to the Senators in nearly nine years heading into the teams' matchup Thursday night.

Ottawa finished its season-opening, three-game trip with a pair of wins, capped by Craig Anderson making 30 saves in a 1-0 victory over Florida on Monday. Clarke MacArthur scored on the power play in the second period off an assist from Kyle Turris, who has a point in all three games.
