GDT: Avalanche at Senators 10/16/2014, Game 5

Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Your Colorado Avalanche take on the Senators of Ottawa in the Canadian Centre of Power. Game time is 7:30 in the ET, 5:30 MT on Altitude and GCL with Moser's radio call on the Avs site.

Some good news on the injury front, Smooth Johnny Mitchell has been taken off IR and will be in the lineup tonight, Jesse Winchester takes his place on the injured list. Ryan Wilson's face seems to be ok enough for him to remain active but he'll sit this one out just to be sure.

...And some bad news on the injury front. Semyon Varlamov was placed on IR today and Calvin Pickard called up from the Monsters. Reto Berra will start tonight. The Monsters are in Chicago, no idea if Calvin can make the game in Ottawa. If not we could see something interesting. Spencer Martin and the Mississauga Steelheads are playing the Ottawa 67's tomorrow night so he could sign an ATO and operate the door for a night if need be.
