This is a 'careful what you wish for' situation for me. I've wanted to see Calvin Pickard get a start in the NHL for 2 years now, and here it is. I'm nervous.

Reto Berra did some dry-land stuff today but isn't ready to come back from what is described as a neck stinger yet. With Varly still on IR, Sami Aittokallio was called up from Lake Erie yesterday morning to be the backup, or long reliever or whatever. To make space for him on the roster Dennis Everberg was sent down to the Monsters where he played about half the game last night and looked like a man among boys. Come back soon, Demmpa!
