GDT: Avalanche vs Islanders 10/30/2014, Game 11

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Your Colorado Avalanche take on the Islanders of New York tonight at the Pepsi Center. Game time is 9:00pm in the ET, 7:00pm lima and can be viewed on Altitude or GCL with Moser's call available on the Avs' site.

After going full blender in the 3rd period against San Jose on Tuesday, we find a pretty big line shakeup presented to us tonight. Also Dennis Everberg was recalled from Lake Erie yesterday, apparently having received a season's worth of seasoning in 5 Monsters games.

Jesse Winchester's recovery has had a setback and he was back in the N-C jersey yesterday. Roy stated that he was back to baseline but still had some symptoms and they're not going to rush him into the lineup.

Fan favorite Zach Redmond will be back in the press box tonight. I don't agree with the move, but I can see some of Patrick's rationale for it. Redmond is good at moving the puck and solid in the D-zone most of the time, but there are a few issues that the staff might feel looking down from above will help in the long run. I doubt he's there long.
