Avalanche reduces roster to opening night 23

The Avalanche announced the final cuts this morning. Andrew Agozzino and Borna Rendulic have been reassigned to the Lake Erie Monsters, while Ben Street and Tomas Vincour have been placed on Injured Reserved. That gives us a roster of

Aggz had a great camp and preseason, so don't be surprised to see him as an early call up. Rendulic will benefit from some top minutes in the AHL to help him adjust to the North American game. The pleasant surprise is Dennis Everberg, a guy who looked a little overwhelmed in camp at times. He really turned it on when it came to actual game time and as long as John Mitchell and/or Jamie McGinn sits out, Everberg will be a useful addition to the bottom line.
