The Avs made some more roster modifications today!

I really hate this for Agozzino, he made his NHL debut last night, played great, got an assist and now finds himself on the way back to Cleveland.

Besides the fact that the Avs needed 3 forwards to ice a complete team, I believe the 3 guys were chosen because of how their salaries would maximize the amount of cap space gained when Ryan Wilson was put on Long Term Injured Reserve. Maybe they wanted Carey in the first place but couldn't make it work with his $715k salary compared to Aggz $590k. Who knows? Maybe they just want to look at a buncha guys over the next few weeks.

At least he has some good memories and his family got to see him play an NHL game in Burgundy & Blue. I doubt this is last time we see him.

Paul Carey is just getting over a minor foot injury and has been very solid for LEM so far this year. He's got 4 goals and 5 assists, including a shortie last night, in 15 games for the Monsters.
