GDT: Avalanche vs Hawks 11/26/2014, Game 23

Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Your Colorado Avalanche take on the Blackhawks of Chicago tonight at the Pepsi Center. Game time is 9:00pm in the ET, 7:00pm lima and can be seen on Altitude and GCL with Mose's radio broadcast available from the Avs site.

The injury report, or the Daily Bummer as it now seems to be, is light today. Tanguay is probable for tonight's game, but he was last night too. Erik Johnson will be a game time decision as well after getting knocked right the fuck out last night in Phoenix. Karl Stollery has been summoned from the shores of Lake Erie in case EJ's unable to go and Varly was put on IR retroactive to the 15th to make room for him. Varly practiced today and looked good according to those that witnessed it, we might see him by the weekend. Nobody else looks close to getting better anytime soon.

I'm just going to throw last night's lineup out there because it seems the likeliest scenario. If Tangs plays we'll see him on the 1st and Briere somewhere else. If EJ doesn't play the lineup's not going to matter a whole lot.

Calvin Pickard makes just his 2nd start ever for the Avs, which is weird because he has a 2-2 record with a .933 Sv% and 2.00 GA. Let's all send a bunch of luck his way, he's going to need everything but the kitchen sink tonight.
