The Avalanche announced that Patrick Bordeleau has a fractured kneecap and will be out another 8-10 weeks. This is obviously good news for Dennis Everberg and Borna Rendulic, but it's still a shame to have more injury woes for this team. Certainly, Bordy can't be happy.
The forward has not been placed on IR yet, so it's hard to say if the Avs will call up anyone from Lake Erie. Given that without him the team is still carrying 13 healthy forwards, it's unlikely. Stay tuned, though.
