GDT: Avalanche vs Canucks 3/27/2014, game 73

Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Your Colorado Avalanche take on the Canucks of Vancouver tonight at the Pepsi center.

There's lots of confusing information on the internet today about the Avs possibly clinching a playoff spot tonight. If we beat the Canucks and our BFFs in New Jersey can defeat the Coyotes, apparently we qualify for the post-season. We'll see.

Today's injury report is a mixed bag, Smooth Johnny Mitchell is not ready yet but looks to be a lock for the Columbus game. Erik Johnson has the Diphtheria or Pink Eye or something and didn't do Morning Skate with everybody, he's possible for the game however. If he does play we go the 11/7 route with Guenin swapping in occasionally, if not I guess Paul Carey suits up. Varly starts in goal and the definite scratches are Yogi and that other guy.
