Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Your Colorado Avalanche take on the Wilds of Minnesota one final time tonight at the Pepsi Center.

6 years ago, the beloved Avalanche took on the Wilds in Colorful Colorado with a chance to clinch a 1st round series. They did, and it was, of course, the last playoff series our boys in burgundy and blue came out of victorious. Let's do that again, eh?

This is not a day for injury news, so there will be none. Of lineup changes there is but one, Joey Hishon will return to the ice tonight centering the 3rd line with Max Talbot on one side and Jamie McGinn on the other. Brad Malone takes a rest, joining Yogi, Stef, Carey and our wounded brethren in the Press Box.
