Open Thread: May 1st, 2014

Whilst last night was not what we, Avs fans, hoped. Let's keep in mind how the season began. It began with a promise from Roy saying that he wanted to instill a Playoff mentality, he was quick to say that the Avs might not make the playoffs, but that they will think like a team that can.

They did make the playoffs, they will be raising a banner.  Numerous players have been nominated for individual awards. What a huge turnaround from a year ago. I'm proud of this team and how far they came.
